Dr Kenny recommends bone grafting when there's not enough healthy bone structure left to successfully support a dental implant. He may also use bone grafting to support a sinus lift, which elevates the sinus floor so it doesn't interfere with successful implant placement.
Bone Grafting in Forster, NSW
If we recommend bone grafting, Dr Kenny can perform the procedure here in our Forster dental clinic. He can guide you through the process step by step, monitoring your healing and bone integration.
During a simple surgical procedure, he'll place the chosen bone material carefully onto your jawbone. The material integrates with your bone naturally over a period of three to six months, eventually becoming part of your dental anatomy.
Once the new bone material is fully integrated, your jawbone can successfully support a dental implant. Implants are made of biocompatible titanium, and Dr Kenny will place the implant and give it time to integrate with your bone.
Book an Evaluation
Were you told before that you're not a candidate for dental implants due to bone loss? This might not be the case if you qualify for bone grafting. Booking an evaluation with Dr Kenny is the first step to learning more about your options.
